摘要
为应对教育变革,加之受预算减少、成本上升和用户需求变化的制约,美国湾区大学图书馆在教学、科研和助力学生成长方面积极谋求转型。文章以美国湾区的哈佛大学图书馆、加州大学伯克利分校图书馆、麻省理工学院图书馆和斯坦福大学图书馆为调研对象,借鉴其转型变革的先进理念和成功经验,从制定战略规划、变革组织机构、重塑物理空间、实现数字化转型和构建学习型组织等方面提出转型建议,以期推进我国高校图书馆的转型发展。
In response to changes in education,and also constrained by reduced budgets,rising costs and changing user needs,university libraries in the U.S.Bay Area are actively exploring transformations for teaching,researching,and supporting student growth.Taking the libraries of Harvard University,University of California at Berkeley,Massachusetts Institute of Technology,and Stanford University in the Bay Area as research subjects,and drawing on their advanced concepts and successful experiences of transformation and change,this paper puts forward suggestions for transformation from the aspects of formulating strategic planning,changing organizational structure,reshaping physical space,realizing digital transformation and building learning organization,so as to promote the transformation and development of university libraries in China.
