This article introduces the measurement principles,application scenarios,advantages and disadvantages of various types of flame monitoring equipment,and explains that flame monitoring equipment with different measurement principles can be selected according to actual situations in different measurement environments to meet the requirements of Emergency Department〔2020〕No.38 document:Gas heating furnaces and thermal oil furnaces without flame monitoring and extinguishing protection systems are outdated equipment(restricted category),The flame monitoring and flameout protection system should be renovated within one year.
