Comparative Analysis of Urban Competitive Advantage in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Based on the Generalized Double Diamond Model(GDDM)

以一般双钻石模型(GDDM)为理论框架构建评价城市竞争优势的指标体系,运用显示性指标综合评价方法和多因素综合评价方法,分别对11座城市进行全景深度扫描分析。研究发现,每一座城市都具有独特的核心优势,香港地区基于全球化的服务网络成为大湾区的国际服务中心,深圳基于科技创新网络成为国际科技创新中心,东莞基于丰裕的初级劳动力与全球生产网络成为世界制造名城,惠州基于临近港深、临近海洋的广阔土地成为大湾区东岸的卫星城市,广州基于区域服务网络成为广东的区域服务中心,佛山基于内向度较高的民营制造业成为国家制造名城,肇庆基于广袤土地和矿产资源成为大湾区西岸的制造基地,澳门地区基于博彩旅游业成为世界旅游休闲中心,珠海基于比邻港澳、陆海通达的交通区位成为大湾区西岸的中心城市,中山基于轻工业生产网络成为大湾区西岸的工业城市,江门基于大湾区唯一可大规模连片开发的土地以及海外华侨资源成为华侨华人“双创”之城;各城市“钻石”彼此相连、协同发展,形成协同发展的大湾区的“钻石链”。

Taking the generalized double diamond model(GDDM)as the theoretical framework,this paper constructs the index system of evaluation of the competitive advantage of cities and uses the display indices comprehensive evaluation method and multi-factor comprehensive evaluation method to deeply scan the 11 cities in the Greater Bay Area in a panoramic view.The outcome shows that each city has unique core advantages.Hong Kong region becomes the international service center in the Greater Bay Area based on its global service network.Shenzhen becomes an international science and technology innovation center based on its science and technology innovation network.Dongguan becomes a world-famous manufacturing city based on its abundant primary labor force and global production network.Huizhou becomes a satellte city on the east coast of the Greater Bay Area based on its vast land near Hong Kong region,Shenzhen and adjacent to the sea.Guangzhou becomes the regional service center of Guangdong based on its regional service network.Foshan becomes a famous national manufacturing city based on its private manufacturing enterprises focusing more on the domestic market.Zhaoqing becomes the manufacturing base on the west coast of the Greater Bay Area based on its vast land and mineral resources.Macao region becomes a tourism and leisure center in the world based on gambling tourism industry.Zhuhai becomes the central city on the west coast of the Greater Bay Area based on its transportation location adjacent to Hong Kong region and Macao region,connecting land and sea.Zhongshan becomes an industrial city on the west coast of the Greater Bay Area based on the light industry production network.Jiangmen becomes a city of"mass entrepreneurship and innovation"for overseas Chinese based on the only land that can be developed on a large scale in the Greater Bay Area and its overseas Chinese resources.Urban diamonds are connected to each other,and develop in synergy,forming an integrated"diamond chain"in the Greater Bay Area.
