Murine studies and expressional analyses of human cardiac pericytes reveal novel trajectories of SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein-induced microvascular damage

摘要 Dear Editor,The Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has caused over 670 million cases and 6.7 million deaths worldwide,many of which are attributed to cardiovascular complications.Virus-induced endothelial damage,endothelial barrier dysfunction,thrombosis,and cytokine storm are implicated in heart and multi-organ failure.
