中西媒体应急报道文本对比分析

A Comparative Analysis of Emergency Reports Between Chinese and Western Media

应急报道是应急语言服务体系中的重要一环,也是中西媒体长期研究的话题,因为真实准确的应急报道对安抚公众情绪,保持稳定的社会秩序和保障抗灾救灾进程的有序高效尤为重要。本文以中美新闻媒体《人民日报》和CNN在2021年7月至8月期间河南暴雨报道为语料,运用内容分析法和批判话语分析法,通过报道来源、报道内容等角度研究两家媒体对同一事件在报道方式及内容上的异同,探究中西媒体应急报道的特点,聆听媒体声音。

Emergency reporting is an important part of the emergency language service system and also a topic of long-term research by Chinese and Western media,because true and accurate emergency reporting is particularly important to appease the public,maintain a stable social order and ensure the orderly and efficient process of disaster relief.In this paper,the report from the Chinese and American news media,People’s Daily and CNN,about the rainstorm in Henan from July to August 2021 are used as the corpus.By using the content analysis and critical discourse analysis methods,this paper studied the similarities and differences in reporting methods and contents of the same event by the two media from the perspectives of reporting sources and contents,explored the characteristics of emergency reporting by Chinese and Western media,and listened to the voices of the media.
