从语用学视角分析政论文中国特色表达的翻译

Analysis of Expression Translation with Chinese Characteristics from the Perspective of Pragmatics

《二十大报告》是中国政府最重要的政论报告之一,该报告全面分析了中国及世界形势,明确了中国未来的发展蓝图,既是对党和人民的承诺,也是一次向世界的庄严宣告。作为世界了解中国的重要窗口,该报告中有诸多中国特色表达,如果妥善翻译,则能彰显中国自信;反之,则会贻笑大方,甚至误导西方读者,损坏中国人民和中国政府的国际形象。本文以《二十大报告》中国特色表达的翻译为实例,从词汇、句子与语篇三方面入手,重点从语用学视角探讨了中国特色表达的翻译策略和方法。

As one of the most essential government reports given by the Chinese government,Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has drawn a blue print for China’s development and analyzed the overall situation both in China and abroad,standing out not only as a promise to the Chinese government and the Communist Party,but also as a solemn announcement to the world.As an important window for other countries to know about China,it features a lot of expressions with Chinese characteristics,which will show China’s confidence to the world if translated well enough;otherwise,will make no sense,or even mislead readers abroad,undermining the image of Chinese people and the government.This paper mainly discusses the translation strategies of expressions with Chinese characteristics in the political essays by setting the translation of some expressions with Chinese characteristics in the report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party as examples,centering on lexicon,sentence and discourse from the perspectives of pragmatics.
