In order to study the impact of the personal characteristics of conventional bus drivers on driving speed, this paper obtains 220 effective survey data of the personal characteristics of conventional bus drivers by means of questionnaire.According to the different driving speed ranges of drivers, the driving speed selection behavior is divided into four regions, namely four selection limbs.Based on the theory of disaggregated model, the measurement model of the influence of the personal characteristics of the regular bus drivers on the traveling speed was constructed by taking the personal characteristics of the regular bus drivers as the influencing factors.Using elastic value theory, the sensitivity of different factors and driving speed selection behavior is analyzed. The results show that the absolute values of elasticity corresponding to age, driving age and personality of conventional bus drivers are all greater than 1.000,indicating that these influencing factors are resilient to the choice of speed range. The absolute value of elasticity corresponding to the seven factors such as gender, education level and corrected vision is no more than 1.000,indicating that these factors are inelastic to the choice of driving speed range. Finally, according to the analysis results, this paper puts forward the corresponding control countermeasures to provide reference for the routine bus driver assessment and selection.
