高校英语专业学生思辨能力培养与课程思政的融合路径探索

Developing Critical Thinking Within the Framework of Moral Education for College English Majors

我国高校外语学界关于英语专业学生思辨能力培养的研讨迄今为止已有三十余年,英语专业学生思辨能力培养在理论和实践上都取得了一些成果,其中包括理论模型的创建和课程改革的突破。《中国教育现代化2035》的出台意味着外语学界当务之急应思考如何将思辨能力与思政有机融合,培养以德为先,注重终身学习、知行合一的社会主义接班人,以推进中国教育现代化。思辨能力的内涵应体现中国特色社会主义办学方向和社会主义核心价值观。思辨能力不仅仅是一套可教可学的技能,还关乎德育。外语教师在教授语言、传授知识的同时应以德为先,在此基础上提升学生的思辨能力,而思辨能力的提升又将反作用于德行,使其得到升华,二者相辅相成,最终实现双螺旋上升。

The past 30 years has witnessed some research breakthrough both in theory and in practice in the Chinese academia of critical thinking development for college English majors.The issuing of“The Education Modernization Plan 2035”calls for greater emphasis on the cultivation of both critical thinking and moral character of the younger generation.For English majors,language and knowledge acquisition is only part of the college education.Greater weight should be given to their critical thinking development on the basis of the cultivation of their moral integrity.Critical thinking in the Chinese context should be an embodiment of the core values of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and the promotion of moral integrity,if given priority,tends to reinforce the development of critical thinking.
