Both Professor Zhong Jingwen and Ji Xianlin are renowned academic masters in the field of Hinology and Folkloristics in China.They devoted themselves into the academic activities,embracing an academic mission,social responsibility and selfless dedication to science.In the field of Chinese-Indian Folktale Research,they engaged in interdisciplinary and multilingual cooperation to deal with complex phenomenon,successfully resolving long-standing enigmas and thereby forging a valuable academic history.Although the form and conceptual expression of the original texts Chinese-Indian Folktales may undergo some changes during the research,these masters always carefully retain the cultural differences while penetrating the changes,insisting on historical initiative,promoting academic dialogue,and enhancing cultural confidence.More and more folktales in the contemporary world are being translated and researched.Scholars are combining storytelling activities with academic exploration,seeking to learn from each other,respect diversity,and establish harmonious relationships.The academic collaboration between Zhong and Ji has left us with an important academic legacy of historical value and practical significance,deserving of in-depth study.
