In-service urban gas pipeline,especially steel pipes,the effect of corrosion in steel pipes is increasingly prominent with the increasing operating life.The gas crossing pipes(bridge pipes)is mostly laid along the bridge.There are sufficient water vapor and many electric transmission facilities such as cables with much stray current,which is easy to cause rusting on pipes and affect the safe operation of the pipeline.Therefore,regular inspection and judgment of in-service gas steel pipes and necessary repairing or reconstruction can ensure that the pipeline operation is under the safe control.Taking the inspection project of a specific bridge pipe in Shenzhen as an example,inspection judgment and treatment schemes of rusting are introduced,and the corresponding repair measures are given to ensure that the pipeline operation is under the safe control.
