This study aims to investigate the ecological and biological characteristics of indoor ornamental plants and their impact on indoor environments and layout.By analyzing different types and color tones of indoor ornamental plants,their roles in emotional expression and visual impact are revealed.Furthermore,the study explores the purification functions of different plant species in home environments,including air purification,humidity regulation,and oxygen release.Through the design and analysis of practical examples,the layout and application of indoor ornamental plants in different spaces are demonstrated.Finally,future research and application directions are proposed,including further exploration of the ecological characteristics of plants,the correlation with psychological well-being,and the development and application of new indoor ornamental plant species.This research holds significant implications for enhancing indoor environmental decoration and improving the quality of residents' lives.
