University education is organized mainly according to different programs.Scholars in different times have different interpretations of program-specific education.Throughout its historical evolution at home and abroad,it is constantly developing in the process of adapting to the changes of the times.With the change of society and the progress of science and technology,all countries are actively exploring the new development mode of program-specific education.The era of intelligence has brought new impetus for the reform of traditional program-specific education.On the basis of defining its connotation and analyzing its characteristics,this paper discusses the historical evolution of program-specific education at home and abroad,and looks ahead to its development prospect in the era of intelligence,specifically,improving the idea of university program-specific education,innovating its mode,reforming its curriculum,and training more high-quality professional talents for economic and social development.
