文学中的现实关怀和中国式文学创作——访谈茅盾文学奖得主贾平凹

Realistic Concerns in Literature and Chinese-Style Literary Creation:An Interview with Jia Pingwa,Winner of the Mao Dun Literature Prize

《上海交通大学学报(哲学社会科学版)》推出“著名作家高端访谈”栏目,本期访谈第七届茅盾文学奖得主贾平凹,聚焦“文学中的现实关怀和中国式文学创作”这一话题,围绕文学、文化、文明等问题展开。回顾自身创作经历,贾平凹强调自己的作品比起故事性,更多地关注中国社会大转型下农民、知识分子、女性以及生活在社会底层的人民的生活境遇,不仅书写社会矛盾催生下的城市欲望,也书写社会变革之下乡村和乡村人进城后的生存状态和精神状态,关注现代与传统的冲突。贾平凹认为,愈关注全球,愈重视本土,用全球化意识写好中国气派的作品,才可能被中国之外的人关注到。贾平凹指出,现代意识就是人类意识,作家应关注社会问题、人类的生存困境,在这过程中以最大的真情来展现社会现实和人性。

Journal of Shanghai Jiao Tong University(Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition)presents the column of“High-level Interviews with Renowned Writers”.In this issue,the interview focuses on Mr.Jia Pingwa,the winner of the 7th Mao Dun Literature Prize,discussing the topic of“Realistic Concerns in Literature and Chinese-style Literary Creation,”exploring various aspects of literature,culture,and civilization.Reflecting on his own creative experiences,Jia Pingwa emphasizes that his works,beyond their narrative aspects,pay greater attention to the living conditions of farmers,intellectuals,women,and those at the bottom of society during the profound social transformation in China.He not only depicts urban desires born out of social contradictions but also writes about the survival and spiritual states of rural areas and rural people who have migrated to cities amidst social changes,while addressing the conflicts between modernity and tradition.Mr.Jia believes that the more we focus on the world,the more we should value our local culture.By employing a global perspective,writers can produce works with a distinctive Chinese style that may attract attention from beyond China.Mr.Jia points out that modern consciousness is human consciousness,and writers should focus on social issues and the existential predicaments of humanity,using utmost sincerity to depict social realities and human nature.
