Historical Metaphysics:A New Approach to the Evolution of Chinese Philosophy

历史形而上学是理解中国哲学的一个重要视域。中国文化向来具有厚重的哲理思辨特性,衍化产生诸如道命、心性、事物等形而上学概念,建立起独特完整的传统形而上学逻辑系统,奠定历史形而上学的思想基础。但中国文化又讲究形而上思想与形而下现实的结合,于是历史形而上学在经史一体化历史范围内,依靠人、事、物三个主体对象,筑建生成传统形而上学具体落实的依托处所——历史精神世界。反观历史精神世界的内部结构,主要分成时间、空间与想象三重维度,对应显现生活、天下与精神文化三层意境。历史形而上学实则是立足中国传统形而上学,在历史精神世界中还原中国文化的本来面貌,展现出一种中国哲学演进的新思路。

Historical metaphysics is an important perspective for understanding Chinese philosophy.Chinese culture has always been characterized by a strong philosophical speculation,derived metaphysical concepts such as Taoist fate,mind,and things,established a unique and complete traditional metaphysical logic system,and laid the ideological foundation of historical metaphysics.However,Chinese culture also pays attention to the combination of metaphysical thought and physical reality.Therefore,historical metaphysics,within the historical scope of the integration of Confucian classics and history,relies on the three main objects of people,concept,and things to build a place for the concrete implementation of traditional metaphysics—the historical spiritual world.In contrast,the internal structure of the historical spiritual world is mainly divided into the three dimensions of time,space and imagination,corresponding to the three layers of artistic conception of life,world,and spiritual culture.Historical metaphysics is actually based on traditional Chinese metaphysics,restoring the original appearance of Chinese culture in the historical spiritual world,showing a new idea of Chinese philosophical evolution.
