“一带一路”倡议下中国高校英语教育应对策略

摘要 中国是“一带一路”倡议的倡导者和发起者,实施“一带一路”是中国倡议建设“人类命运共同体”的重大部署战略。语言是心灵的窗口,是文化的载体,是交往的工具,因此“一带一路”的建设必须要语言铺路,语言人才先行。在对象国语言人才和海外汉语人才供给还不充足的时间里,英语将是首选的沟通语种。在此背景下,文章运用全人教育理论,重点以中国高校英语教育为研究对象,通过文献调查和比较分析,发现在应对“一带一路”倡议对培养复合型专业人才的新要求下,协调处理好世界通用语英语的教学和“一带一路”沿线国家及地区非通用语人才培养之间的关系,协调处理好语言教学中的博雅和应用之间的关系,协调处理好语言教学中的本国文化和“一带一路”国家文化之间的融合关系。 China is the advocator and initiator of“the Belt and Road”strategy,and the implementation of“the Belt and Road”is a major deployment strategy for China's initiative to build“a community of common destiny”.Language is the window of mind,the carrier of culture and the tool of communication,which serves as the paved way for the construction of“the Belt and Road”.Cultivating language talents must come first.At a time when the target language talents and the overseas Chinese talents supply is not enough,English will be the preferred language of communication.Focusing on the English education in Chinese colleges and universities as the research object,this essay applies the theory of whole-person education,takes literature survey and comparative analysis as its research methods,and finds that in response to the new requirements of“the Belt and Road”national development strategy for training compound professionals,English education in Chinese colleges and universities should be transformed and developed,so as to coordinate the relationship between the teaching of Universal English and the cultivation of Non-Generalized language talents in countries and regions along“the Belt and Road”,the relationship between liberal arts education and language application,and the relationship between native culture and foreign cultures in language teaching.
