政治语篇中文化隐喻的翻译传播策略研究

On Translation and Introduction Strategies of Chinese Cultural Metaphors in Political Discourse

文化隐喻是带有民族语言文化特色的隐喻,政治话语中汉语文化隐喻的翻译时常出现,且其翻译效果直接影响着政治话语的传播效果,甚至关系到国家形象构建。本文通过外交部、中央文献编译局等官方所给出的政治讲话类的政治语篇的翻译中,有关汉语文化隐喻的典型英译案例进行翻译批评,并基于对“通识性文化隐喻”与“非通识性文化隐喻”的概念界定,总结出政治语篇中文化对外译介中文化隐喻的“有所为”与“有所不为”两大翻译传播策略,以期对中国文化对外传播的国家翻译实践提供借鉴。

Cultural metaphor is the metaphor with the characteristics of national language and culture.The translation of Chinese cultural metaphor often appears in political discourses,and its translation effect directly affects the communication effect of political discourse,and even relates to the construction of national image.Based on the translation of political discourses of political speech by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Central Literature Compilation and Translation Bureau,this paper analyzes the typical translation cases of Chinese cultural metaphor.Based on the author’s definition of“general cultural metaphor”and“non-general cultural metaphor”,this paper summarizes two translation and communication strategies of cultural metaphor in political discourse,namely“doing something”and“not to do everything”,in order to provide reference for national translation practice of Chinese cultural communication to the outside world.
