摘要
北京冬奥会外宣翻译对于建构中国的国际形象有着重要意义,翻译伦理理论为评估外宣翻译质量提供了标准,为规范译者的翻译行为提供了指导。论文从翻译伦理视角解读北京冬奥会外宣文本翻译,探究译者如何克服英汉文化表达差异,输出英汉语言理解交流顺畅的和谐译文,探悉新时代外宣翻译如何与时俱进,提出通过外宣翻译讲好中国故事、传播好中国声音的新方案。
The publicity translation to foreigners during the Beijing Winter Olympics is of great significance to the construction of China’s international image,while the translation ethics provides criteria for assessing translation quality and guidance for regulating the behaviors of translators.This paper analyzes the publicity translation to foreigners concerning the Beijing Winter Olympics from the perspective of translation ethics with an attempt to investigate how the translators managed to overcome the differences between English and Chinese to realize smooth communication between the two languages and cultures and explores how translators can advance with the times in the new era to tell China’s stories and convey China’s voice more effectively through publicity translations.
