Habermas' View of Society and Its Implication of Social Integration

哈贝马斯的社会观构成了他关于社会整合问题思考的理论前提。哈贝马斯认为自由主义和共和主义的社会观都属于系统论的社会观,因而社会整合只能被理解为一种系统性的整合。哈贝马斯的社会观提出一种关于公共交往过程的主体间性,他主张国家与社会之间必须相互分离,目的在于保障政治公共领域的独立性,社会由此可以形成总体性的自我认识。同时,社会所形成的总体性的自我认识要与具有集体行动力的国家相结合,产生合法之法,最终才能实现社会整合。哈贝马斯的社会观对于理解当代社会整合的运行逻辑,推进社会整合行动,建设法治国家,均具有重要的理论价值。

Habermas'view of society constitutes the theoretical premise for his thinking on social integration.Habermas believes that the social views of liberalism and republicanism belong to the social views of system theory,so social integration can only be understood as a systematic integration.Habermas'view of society proposes an inter-subjectivity in the process of public communication.He advo‐cates that the state and society must be separated from each other in order to ensure the independence of the political public sphere,whereby society can form a holistic self understanding.At the same time,the overall self understanding formed by society must be com‐bined with a country with collective action power to produce legitimate laws,and thus ultimately social integration can be achieved.Habermas'view of society has important theoretical value to understand the operational logic of contemporary social integration,to pro‐mote social integration actions,and to build a country ruled by law.
