Accelerating the development of new energy storage industries is of great significance for promoting the construction of new power systems.The article first discusses the challenges and opportunities faced by the State Grid of China in building a new type of power system in the face of the current state of energy development.Subsequently,the types,principles,and application status of new energy storage technologies were introduced,as well as their role in new power systems.Finally,specific measures and suggestions were proposed for the State Grid to promote the development of the new energy storage industry,including policy support,technology research and development,and industrial cooperation,in order to accelerate the construction and promotion of the new power system.The key to the development of the new energy storage industry is government policy support,industrial technology research and development,and cooperation between enterprises.
