摘要
本文基于2010~2021年267个城市的年度面板数据,运用多期双重差分法评估自贸试验区建设对城市创新效率的影响,并对影响机制与空间溢出效应进行实证检验。结果表明,作为新时期改革开放的产物,自贸试验区建设可以显著提升城市创新效率,且经济制度变迁发挥了中介作用。同时,该效应因城市行政等级和区位而呈现异质性:相较于省会城市,自贸试验区建设对非省会城市创新效率的提升效应更显著且提升效果更强;且自贸试验区建设对东部和中部地区的城市创新效率有显著促进作用,对西部地区城市创新效率的影响不显著。从空间视角来看,自贸试验区建设对城市创新效率的影响具有空间溢出效应。
Based on the annual Panel data of 267 cities from 2010 to 2021,this paper uses the multi period double diffe⁃rence method to evaluate the impact of the construction of pilot free trade zones on urban innovation efficiency,and empirically tests the impact mechanism and spatial spillover effect.The results indicate that,as a product of the new era of reform and opening up,the construction of free trade pilot zones can significantly promote the improvement of urban innovation efficiency,and economic sys⁃tem changes have played a mediating role.At the same time,the effect exhibits heterogeneity due to the administrative level and lo⁃cation of cities:compared to provincial capital cities,the construction of free trade pilot zones has a more significant and stronger improvement effect on the innovation efficiency of non provincial capital cities.Moreover,the pilot free trade zone has a significant promoting effect on urban innovation efficiency in the eastern and central regions,while the impact on urban innovation efficiency in the western regions is not significant.From a spatial perspective,the construction of free trade pilot zones has a spatial spillover effect on urban innovation efficiency.
