The development of table tennis in rural areas lags far behind that in urban areas.This situation has not been significantly improved for more than 40 years since the initial stage of reform and opening up,which is slightly different from the development stage of China's comprehensive poverty alleviation in rural areas and the requirements of the country's implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.Thinking about how to promote the further development of rural table tennis under the background of the overall promotion of rural revitalization strategy,we should explore the characteristics of rural table tennis and its development environment,grasp the advantages,opportunities and difficulties of rural table tennis development,and find a development path that conforms to the implementation law of rural revitalization strategy.
