鹊山上的人参鸟

Ginseng Bird on Queshan Mountain

相传很早以前,牟平鹊山脚下住着一位姓王的小伙子,忠厚老实,手脚勤快,庄稼地里也是一把好手,只是由于父母去得早,家境又贫寒,虽说已经到了婚配的年龄,可由于拿不出像样的彩礼,尽管和心上人情投意合,可迟迟没有成婚。旧时鹊山这里有个风俗,若家里人生的头胎是男孩子,要抱出去撞贵人(也叫出行),遇到的第一个人就是他的贵人。若是遇到男的就拜为“干爹”;遇到女的就拜为“干妈”,这小伙子的心上人正是他干爹的女儿——他的干妹妹。

Once upon a time,there lived a young man named Wang at the foot of Queshan Mountain.He was upright,hardworking and a good hand at farming.But due to the early death of his parents and his poor family,he was unable to offer decent betrothal gifts and thus did not get married with his sweetheart although he was old enough to get married.
