伦理问题是翻译研究中的持久议题,在最近十余年间获得长足发展。近年随着人工智能的突飞猛进和国际局势的变幻莫测,伦理问题更显迫切。然而围绕翻译伦理,仍然有诸多概念亟需厘清。莫伊拉•安吉莱利(Moira Inghilleri)现为美国马萨诸塞大学阿默斯特分校比较文学教授,翻译研究中心主任。其研究领域涉及社会翻译学、翻译伦理、移民和翻译、符号学与翻译,尤其在翻译伦理和移民口译研究方面著述丰厚。笔者于2022年访学期间旁听安吉莱利教授的翻译课程,就“翻译伦理”这一话题多次同她展开探讨。在本次访谈中,安吉莱利教授就伦理的基本涵义、理论流派以及翻译伦理的主要研究内容、路径、以及理论建构等问题进行了详述,并对翻译伦理教学提出了建设性的意见。访谈以英文进行,由笔者翻译整理成文。

Ethics has been a persistent topic in Translation Studies,and has gained academic attention and achievements in the last decade.With the advancement of AI and the vagaries of the world’s situation,ethics is becoming all the more urgent.However,there are still some concepts of translation ethics that need to be clarified.Moira Inghilleri is Professor of Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.Her research interests are in the sociology of translation and interpreting,translation ethics,translation and migration,and semiotics and translation.In her classrooms in 2022,we have talked several times on translation ethics.In this interview,she elaborates on the contents,methodology and pedagogy of translation ethics.The interview was conducted in English and translated by the author.
