This paper introduces that connection fault was found after furnace test of one HDMI product,the fault was analyzed to be caused by HDMI HD holder,and holder gold finger surface of HDMI HD was stained with foreign matter,the defect rate was about 15%.The Researchers used failure analysis methods,realized the fault phenomenon,analyzed the failure causes,determined the analysis means and methods and find out the root cause of failure.After the manufacturer accepted the suggestion and improved theproduct,the similar failurewas avoided again.
