The construction of China’s independent knowledge system is the motivation and goal of realizing the turn of philosophical scholarship in contemporary China.The concept of modernity,which reached a mature state in the western modernization movement,is formed by the western rationalist philosophy as its academic background,thus creating the knowledge system and knowledge paradigm sweeping the world.The western knowledge system based on the modern-capitalist world provides spiritual and cultural guidance for the universal rule of capital,and has ex⁃posed the inherent defects in its development.The historic practice of Chinese modernization has demonstrated a new type of civilization full of prospects and vitality.Based on the Chinese position and Chinese spirit,contempo⁃rary Chinese philosophical scholarship stands out from modernity scholarship,understands and expresses the spirit of the times,serves the historical process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and shapes a new spiritual temperament for leading and promoting the process of human modernization.
