摘要
中国文化中有图与文两种有关鱼腥草的记述传统。文字书写从物象、人事、天道这三个角度不断地扩展和充实有关鱼腥草的博物学知识,体现出古人认识自然之物时,将物质性与象征性并重的自然观和宇宙观。格物图绘不仅丰富了阅读者视觉上的审美体验,而且全面、科学、直观地修正了以鱼腥草为代表的传统植物学知识。关于鱼腥草的层累式图文书绘,既是博物学知识的持续循环再生,也体现了古人“稽古”而不“尽信”的思想,以及守正创新的文化传承态度。
Chinese culture includes two traditional forms of recording Herba Houttuyniae;graphical representation and written description.The written descriptions,from the perspectives of materiality,human affairs,and cosmology,continuously expand and enrich the botanical knowledge of Herba Houttuyniae,reflecting the ancient people's natural and cosmic views that emphasized both materiality and symbolism when understanding natural objects.The graphic representations not only enriched the readers'visual aesthetic experience but also provided a more comprehensive,scientific,and intuitive correction to traditional botanical knowledge,represented by Herba Houttuyniae.The layered graphic and written representations of Herba Houttuyniae are not only a continuous cycle of regeneration of botanical knowledge but also reflect the cultural attitude of the ancient people as"seeking knowledge from the past"while"not blindly believing tradition"and innovating.
