摘要
燃灯及灯节是一种以光影营造沉浸式体验的信仰民俗,同时具有行为艺术和空间装置艺术的特点。佛教燃灯及灯节通过仪式化行为,在特定时空借助灯烛的设置和流动,营造非世俗意象,并在不同的文化语境中被赋予种种意义,比如佛性遍在的象征、生死明灭的喻示以及国泰民安的祈祝等。参与者借助燃灯这种被“仪式化”的民俗艺术行为,通过视觉、听觉、嗅觉、姿态和空间设置等多模态表达与感知的交互作用,获得身体的沉浸式美感体验和置身于某种历史传统及文化精神情境中的心理感悟。
Lantern burning and lantern festivals are a form of worship folklore that uses light and shadow to create an immersive experience,featuring both performance art and spatial installation art.Through the ritualistic act of lantern burning and lantern festivals,the setting and flow of lanterns and candles in a specific space and time create non-secular imagery.which is given various meanings in different cultural contexts,such as a symbol of the pervasiveness of Buddhahood,a manifestation of the brightness of life and death,and a supplication for national peace and prosperity.Through the interaction of multimodal expressions and perceptions,such as visual,auditory,olfactory,gestural and spatial settings,participants gain an immersive aesthetic experience of the body and a psychological perception of being in a certain historical tradition and cultural and spiritual context through the ritualized folk art act of lantern burning.
