Firefly is a kind of classic resource insect with a great industrial value,but people have no clear understanding of its industrial value and have unclear ideas on its industrial development.This paper comprehensively expounded the comprehensive utilization values of fireflies in tourism,agriculture,environmental protection,education,culture,medicine,bionic,etc,summarized the current development situation of the firefly industry at home and abroad,and put forward some suggestions for the future development of firefly industry,in order to promote the healthy and comprehensive development of the firefly industry.
