Combining municipal road engineering examples,this paper introduces the design principles of subgrade,analyzes the design points of subgrade filling and compacting subgrade slope,protection and drainage,discusses the optimization design strategy of pavement structure in detail,and puts forward a reasonable design scheme to make full use of existing resources,reduce the cost of highway reconstruction and expansion,and reduce the damage to the natural environment.Improve the road service capacity.
