翻译中副文本与解构主义“增补”概念之关系探析

On the relationship between paratext in translation and"supplement"in deconstructionism

副文本与解构主义“增补”概念之间存在互证互释、承载赋值的关系。一方面,副文本的无边界性及流动性特征佐证“增补”的基础;副文本向内介入又向外指涉,承载“增补”补充及替代的双向运作;因“增补”必然的符号表象,副文本是增补文本的唯一途径。另一方面,透过“增补”概念可重新赋值副文本及其研究:副文本因书写“不在场”而产生,是必然存在的;增补定律赋予副文本在意义建构中与文本同等的地位;“增补”在指涉原文的基础上所形成的自身的规律和形态是“明示的副文本研究”的基础。论文以翻译中的副文本元素为主要研究对象,在廓清“增补”概念与副文本之间内在联系的基础上,进一步明晰了“增补”的运作方式,为翻译中的副文本研究提供了更为开阔的思路。

The paratext and the deconstructive concept of"supplement"could support and explain each other.On the one hand,the borderless and fluid trait of the paratext provides the basis of"supplement";the paratext carries a two-way operation of""supplement":supplement and substitution;the paratext is the only device by which the text can be supple-mented since""supplement"must be semiotic.On the other hand,"supplement"could highlight the significance of the paratext and relevant researches:the paratext arises from the absence of writing,indicating that paratextual elements are inevitable existence;the principle of"supplement"gives the paratext the same importance as the text in textual meaning construction;the relative independence of"supplement"is the basis of the explicit paratext studies.The analysis of para-textual elements in translation demonstrates the inner relationship between the"supplément"concept and the paratext,which further clarifies the operation of"supplement"and provides an alternative approach for paratext studies related to translation.
