Research on Teaching Reform of “Forest Ecology”——Taking the Chongqing Normal University of Forest Protection as An Example

“森林生态学”是高等农林院校林学等相关专业的核心课程,是一门涉及生物学科、环境学科和森林经营学科等交叉学科的专业基础课,同时也是重庆师范大学生命科学学院森林保护专业的必修课。该专业的发展有利于充分发挥生态学在我国林业生产实践以及生态文明建设中的重要作用。“森林生态学”是一门集理论性、应用性、实践性和综合性于一体的专业基础课,但在实际教学过程中,大量理论知识的传授与学生实际接纳吸收的知识存在偏差,传统的教学方式不能适应现代教学模式和当代学生的学习需求。文中针对“森林生态学”的课程性质特征和重庆师范大学生命科学学院森林保护专业人才培养方案的要求,提出了对“森林生态学”课程教学、实验实践、考核评价方式、教学内容等方面反思和调整,分别提出了相应的教学改革措施,希望能改善该课程的教学效果,为培养一批林业生产实践的应用性技术人才提供新思路。

“Forest Ecology”is the core course of forestry and other related majors in agricultural and forestry colleges and universities.It is a professional basic course involving interdisciplinary disciplines such as biology,environment and forest management.It is also a major of forest protection at the School of Life Sciences of Chongqing Normal University,Compulsory course.The development of this major is conducive to giving full play to the important role of ecology in my country’s forestry production practice and ecological civilization construction.“Forest Ecology”is a professional basic course that integrates theory,applicability,practicality and comprehensiveness.However,in the actual teaching process,there is a deviation between the teaching of a large amount of theoretical knowledge and the knowledge actually accepted and absorbed by students.The traditional teaching method cannot adapt to the modern teaching mode and the learning needs of contemporary students.In view of the nature of the course“Forest Ecology”and the requirements of the training program for forest protection professionals in the School of Life Sciences,Chongqing Normal University,this paper proposes reflections and adjustments on the teaching,experimental practice,assessment and evaluation methods,and teaching content of the“Forest Ecology”course.The corresponding teaching reform measures are put forward,hoping to improve the teaching effect of the course and provide new ideas for cultivating a group of applied technical talents in forestry production practice.
