草木染料的选择与获得,适用范围不局限,上至宫廷,下到民间作坊均普遍采用,且因植物万千,加上医药学等技术在古代社会的发展和推动,对于“草木”的研究与运用提供了极为便利的条件。也因“草木”可被染坊使用,其材料种类越来越丰富,从而揭示出自上古至唐“草木染”染色工艺背后的种种历史事象,凸显出我国古代“草木染”作为工艺文明的价值所在,这也是唐代繁花似锦东方传统色彩构成的重要标志之一。

The selection and acquisition of grass and wood dyes are not limited in their scope of application.They can be widely used in both the palace and folk workshops.Due to the abundance of plants and the development and promotion of technologies such as medicine in ancient society,the research and application of"grass and wood"has provided extremely convenient conditions.The types of materials that can be used in dyeing workshops are also becoming increasingly diverse,thus revealing various historical events behind the dyeing process of"grass and wood dyeing"from ancient times to the Tang Dynasty,highlighting the value of ancient China's"grass and wood dyeing"as a technological civilization,which is also an important symbol of the colorful oriental traditional color composition of the Tang Dynasty.
