The Practical Interest of Wang Yangming’s Mind Study

阳明心学是传统实学中“心性实学”的典型形态。阳明心学中既有以成就理想人格为目标的道德实践工夫,也有追求“经世致用”的政治实践操作。黄绾、王畿、顾应祥、王宗沐等作为浙中王学的杰出代表,在他们的学术思想与事功成就中,也有以“心学经世”为理论特质的实学内涵。“实学”也就成为阳明心学的一个学术品格。王阳明的“心性实学”还传播至朝鲜、日本,并在东亚实学版图中形成了一种独具特色的“实心实学”。

Wang Yangming’s Mind Study is a typical form of“Practical Mind Study”of traditional practical learning(shixue).In Wang Yangming’s Mind Study,there are both moral practice effort with the goal of achieving an ideal personality,and political practice operation with the pursuit of“serving the society and governance with what is learned.”The academic thoughts and achievements of Huang Wan,Wang Ji,Gu Yingxiang,and Wang Zongmu,all outstanding representatives of Wang’s school in Zhejiang,also presented the connotation of“practical learning”with the characteristics of“Mind Study for the society.”Therefore,“practical learning”has also become a theoretical feature of Wang Yangming’s Mind Study.Wang Yangming’s“Practical Mind Study”also spread to Korea and Japan,and formed a unique“practical mind and practical learning”in the East Asian practical learning circle.
