规则下的传统舞蹈活态传承——读《国家竞技性节日:当代肯尼亚的标准化舞蹈产出和身份塑造》

Live Transmission of Traditional Dance under the Rules:Read National Competitive Festivals:Formatting Dance Products and Forging Identities in Contemporary Kenya

规则在传统文化的传承中具有重要作用,传统舞蹈可按照既定标准传承创新。本文通过对卡希特·基鲁(Kahithe Kiiru)的文章《国家竞技性节日:当代肯尼亚的标准化舞蹈产出和身份塑造》(National Competitive Festivals:Formatting Dance Products and Forging Identities in Contemporary Kenya)进行解读,介绍分析肯尼亚的传统舞蹈当今以竞技比赛形式传承的情况。国家音乐节和国家戏剧节的两种不同评价机制,使传统舞蹈在坚守传统的基础上,与当下的社会、政治实践、国家策略相契合,实现肯尼亚传统民间舞蹈传统美学与当代审美的结合,实现当下肯尼亚传统舞蹈的身份塑造。本文拟以该文章出发,为中国传统舞蹈文化传承发展提供海外经验。

Rules play an important role in the Transmission of traditional culture,and traditional dance can be inherited and innovated according to the established rules.Through the interpretation of Kahithe Kiiru’s article National Competitive Festivals:Formatting Dance Products and Forging Identities in Contemporary Kenya,this paper introduced and analyzed the situation that Kenya’s traditional dance was inherited in the form of competitive competitions.Through the two different evaluation mechanisms of the National Music Festival and the National Drama Festival,the traditional dance would adhere to the tradition and be consistent with the current social,political practice and national strategy,so as to achieve the combination of traditional aesthetics and contemporary aesthetics of Kenya’s traditional folk dance,and realized the identity shaping of Kenya’s traditional dance.This paper was intended to provide overseas experience for the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional dance culture from Kiiru’s article.
