On the CPC’s Phased Understandings of Modernization Opportunities and Their Practical Enlightenments

在中国共产党的奋斗进程中,虽然推动国家发展的侧重点、着力点不同,但坚持现代化建设与把握历史机遇相统一,却是从毛泽东到习近平始终不变的发展逻辑,也是中国共产党取得历史伟业的成功经验。这一发展逻辑和宝贵经验启示我们:新阶段推进社会主义现代化事业,必须以全面建设社会主义现代化国家为指引准确把握好重要战略机遇期,以新科技革命为抓手主动塑造好重要战略机遇期,以有效防范和化解各类风险为支撑全力维护好重要战略机遇期,以战略决策落实为归宿充分利用好重要战略机遇期。

For all the different focuses in advancing the national development in the process of the Communist Party of China’s struggles(CPC),the unification of modernization and grasping historical opportunities has always been the development logic from Mao Zedong to Xi Jinping,as well as the useful experience the CPC has acquired in making achievements of historic significance.Such development logic and valuable experience tell us that in the new stage to promote the cause of socialist modernization we should grasp significant strategic opportunities in a correct way in the direction of building an all-round modernized socialist country,take the initiative to shape this strategic period by new scientific and technological revolution,make every effort to guard this period with the support of effectively preventing and dissolving all kinds of risks,and make good use of this period by implementing strategic measures to this end.
