Innovation is an important force in driving business development.In his long history of administration,Xi Jinping has attached great importance to the issue of innovation in SMEs.He has put forward a series of theses for the innovation of SMEs,which reflects the characteristics of the times,has profound practical value,enrichs and improves the theory of socialist market economy,and is an innovation and development of the Marxist theory of political economy.To further implement Xi Jinping’s important discourse on innovation in SMEs,attention should be paid to technological innovation,strengthening cooperation with state owned enterprises and research institutes,enhancing innovation capacity and taking the path of cooperative innovation;improving social service institutions and creating a good investment and financing environment for innovation;improving the construction of the business environment and strengthening institutional construction;building a talent strategy and cultivating innovative talents;paying attention to green technological innovation and practice the new development concept,to promote the innovative development of SMEs,etc.
