数字经济助推外贸高质量发展——理论机制与实证检验

Digital economy boosts the high-quality development of foreign trade——Theoretical mechanism and empirical test

在“数实孪生”与“双循环”叠加的时代背景下,数字经济与贸易发展表现出强烈的协同共生性。首先,从理论上分析了数字经济对外贸高质量发展的作用机制;而后,基于2012—2020年中国30个省份的面板数据,以熵权TOPSIS模型测算了相应的数字经济发展指数和外贸高质量发展指数,并运用多种计量模型实证检验了数字经济对外贸高质量发展的影响机制。研究发现:第一,数字经济对外贸高质量发展具有显著的直接促进作用,且存在着显著的区位差异、政策差异和产业发展差异。第二,数字经济能够通过提升技术创新水平和市场化程度来促进外贸高质量发展。第三,数字经济对外贸高质量发展具有显著的正向空间溢出效应。根据研究结论,提出了发展数字经济,强化数字动能;增强创新投入,优化市场氛围;协调区域差异,推动区域一体化的对策建议。

In the context of“digital twin”and“dual circulation”,the development of digital economy and trade shows a strong synergistic symbiosis.Firstly,this paper theoretically analyzes the influence mechanism of digital economy on the high-quality development of foreign trade.Then,based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2020,it calculates the corresponding digital economy development index and high-quality foreign trade development index with the entropy weight TOPSIS model,and empirically tests the influence mechanism of digital economy on high-quality foreign trade development with a variety of econometric models.The findings are as follows:(1)Digital economy has a significant direct promoting effect on the high-quality development of foreign trade,and there are significant differences in location,policy and industrial development.(2)The digital economy can promote the high-quality development of foreign trade by improving the level of technological innovation and marketization.(3)Digital economy has significant positive spatial spillover effect on the high-quality development of foreign trade.According to the research conclusions,this paper proposes the following countermeasures:develop digital economy and strengthen digital driving force;enhance innovation investment and optimize market atmosphere;coordinate regional differences and promote regional integration.
