limate disasters including high temperatures,drought and flooding have been frequent in recent years.Southeast Asia,one of the regions most sensitive to climate change,has seen its agriculture,fishery,and manufacturing industries adversely affected and residents’health threatened by climate change.The climate crisis has severely influenced humanity’s prospects for survival.Consumption of fossil fuels is the main contributor to the increased greenhouse emissions.According to Southeast Asia’s Green Economy 2021 Report jointly released by Bain&Company and Temasek,energy consumption contributed 46 percent of greenhouse emissions in Southeast Asia,whereas the global average was 41 percent.
