观赏竹新品种‘花叶摆竹’

摘要 ‘花叶摆竹’Indosasa shibataeoides‘Huaye Baizhu’为竹亚科大节竹属Indosasa McClure摆竹I.shibataeoides McClure自然变异植株经过培育获得的新品种。2021年发现于广东省清远市清新区飞来峡镇以及广西贺州市姑婆山国家森林公园的天然摆竹林中,连续3年的新生叶片变异特征稳定。‘花叶摆竹’的叶片为绿色带黄白色条纹或黄色带绿条纹,有别于叶片纯绿色的摆竹,特别适合做观赏竹类。 Indosasa shibataeoides'Huaye Baizhu'is a new bamboo cultivar developed from the naturally mutative plants of I.shibataeoides.In 2021,the cultivar was found in the natural I.shibataeoides forests both in Feilaixia Town,Qingxin District,Qingyuan City,Guangdong Province and in Gupo Mountain National Forest Park,Hezhou City,Guangxi Province.The variation of its foliage leaves keep stable during a three-year observation.This new cultivar differs from I.shibataeoides in its green foliage leaves with white-yellow strips or its yellow foliage leaves with green strips(vs.pure green),which is especially suitable for being cultivated as ornamental bamboo.
