Grape pomace is the main by-product of wine production,which is rich in a variety of active substances and has antibacterial and antioxidant functions.Feed utilization of grape pomace includes the active components from grape pomace,microbial fermentation and dual utilization of biofuel and feed.Grape pomace can improve animal growth performance,intestinal health and immunity.The paper reviews the feed utilization of grape pomace,its application in animal production and its impact on the economic benefits of livestock and poultry breeding,to provide a reference for the development of unconventional feed.
