Architecture is a living fossil of history and a silent narrative of culture.It not only represents the living space of a nation or region,but more importantly,it represents a unique way of life,a degree of productivity development,and a unique aesthetic taste.Tibetan traditional architecture has developed over thousands of years of history,constantly improving and enriching,and has had a glorious past.During this period,in the long historical process,Tibetan traditional architecture,with its unique architectural style,occupies an important part of Tibetan culture,making it impossible to talk about Tibetan culture today without mentioning Tibetan traditional architecture culture.This paper elaborates on the origin and development process of architectural techniques such as residential buildings,fortresses,palaces,and temples in the Tibetan area,as well as architectural styles and construction processes.This paper also provides a foundational and technical guide for constructing,inheriting,and promoting national and traditional characteristics in urban spaces in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ethnic regions.
