文章翻译学:超学科翻译研究典范

摘要 我国翻译研究经过40年发展,以文化自信和理论自觉为特征的“中国学派”针对本土翻译实践,从传统译论中汲取精华,致力于建构符合汉外翻译实际、具有理论解释力和指导性的原创译学话语体系,开始彰显翻译研究的整体性和超学科性。中国学者提出的“文章翻译学”从译体、译道、译术、译评回答“译什么、谁来译、如何译、译如何”四个基本问题,符合生成学理。其研究路径体现出中国文化的协同性和整体性,呈现出显著的超学科性,是能够描写中国翻译传统译论和中国本土翻译实践、展现中国文化主体性的原创性理论框架之一,是超学科翻译研究的典范。 The past four decades saw the development of the“Chinese School”in the scholarship of translation studies.This school has its foundation deeply rooted in the rich tradition of translation practices in China,exhibiting distinctive characteristics of cultural self-confidence and theoretical selfconsciousness.Within this paradigm,several elucidating,instructive and innovative discourse systems have been developed,showcasing the comprehensive and transdisciplinary nature of translation studies.These systems align with the practice of translating Chinese classics into other languages,drawing upon the invaluable heritage of traditional Chinese translation theory.One such notable framework is the“Compositional Translatology”,proposed by the esteemed Chinese scholar Pan Wenguo.This framework gives an insight into the fundamental inquiries that surround the field of translation,encompassing the vital questions of“what to translate”,“who serves as translator”,“how to translate”and“how to evaluate”.It aligns harmoniously with generative studies,exemplifying the interconnectedness and coherence of Chinese culture.It also prominently demonstrates transdisciplinary attributes and stands as an innovative theoretical framework that effectively encapsulates the traditional translation theories of China alongside the distinctive indigenous translation practices and holds the promise of shedding light on the inherent subjectivity of Chinese culture.Therefore,this framework should be regarded as a model of conducting transdisciplinary studies in the field of translation.
