Mansfield Park is regarded as the best representative work of the female British writer,Jane Austen.The novel takes Fanny Price's growth as the main line and tells about the gradual independent maturity of her female consciousness in different environments.The flow of external material space causes the alienation and timidity of the protagonist's early growth.The dualistic social space causes confusion and difficult choices in her life many times.However,the Fanny positively constructs her independent spiritual space and her feminine consciousness becomes more obvious and firm.These constructions form the main factors of Fanny's growth path,which make her grow up from a girl who used to depend on others to a mature woman with independent thought,noble morality and spiritual dependence for others.It shows the feminine consciousness of Jane Austen's age,who yearned for equality,independence and respect.
