A learning city is a new type of city that takes the concept of lifelong learning as its core and realizes the long-term improvement of the city and its citizens'ability and its own sustainable development through various ways of education and learning.Through the construction of learning cities,it can effectively promote the development of the city and cope with various risks and challenges,which has great practical significance for the development of the country or region.The practice and experience of the construction of learning cities at home and abroad show that the construction of learning cities is an important foundation of the construction of a learning society.We have made great achievements in the construction of learning cities,but there are still many problems that need to be addressed,such as improving the lifelong education system,encouraging continuing education,vigorously promoting digital learning,building multi-party coordination and participation mechanisms,giving full play to the system advantages,building learning governments,and improving the quality assurance system to build a scientific evaluation mechanism.We can better promote the construction of learning cities.
