Combined with practical cases,this paper analyzes that under the framework of FIDIC contract,the project employer and the contractor mainly rely on the price adjustment clause in the contract to prevent and control the cost risk caused by market price inflation.When the variation happens,the accuracy of the price adjustment result of the original contract will be affected to different degrees,which will reduce the practical application effect of the price adjustment clause.By analyzing and studying the influence of the project variation on the accuracy of price adjustment,adjusting the factors affecting the accuracy of price adjustment according to the specific content of the changes can well ensure the applicability of price adjustment after the project variation.
