摘要
《集沙门不应拜俗等事》是一部佛教护法专题文献汇编总集。释彦悰围绕沙门敬拜君亲这一问题,收录了东晋至唐高宗朝的122篇文献,约成于龙朔三年。沙门敬拜君亲为佛教中国化进程中与世俗政权争议的核心问题之一,然而中国古代汇编此一专题者仅此一部。此作除了具有较高的佛教史、思想史价值之外,还有一定的文献价值。《集沙门不应拜俗等事》的版本经历从写本到雕本两个发展阶段。唐代写本虽然已经佚失,但从《慧琳音义》《可洪音义》来看,写本与后来的雕本极为接近。此作版本相对稳定,是由三篇六卷的编纂设计以及文献大多为唐代官方档案存藏的属性决定的。
The Collection of Issues on Buddhist MonksShould Not Kneel toWorship theCommon Peopleis a compilation of Buddhist doctrine protection documents.It is a work compiled by Monk Yanji about the issue of“Monks should worship the monarch and their relatives”,including 122 documents from the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the Tang Gaozong Period,about the third year of Long Shuo.The issue of“Monks should worship the monarch and their relatives”is one of the core issues in the dispute between Buddhism and secular regime in the process of sinicization.However,there is only one monograph on this issue in ancient China.In addition to its high value in the history of Buddhism and ideology,this work also has certain documentary value.The version of Collection of Issues on Buddhist Monks Should Not Kneel toWorship theCommon People has gone through two stages of development:the handwritten version of the Tripitaka and the block-printed version of the Tripitaka.Although the written version of the Tang Dynasty has been lost,according to the two works of Huilin Yinyi and Kehong Yinyi,the written version is very close to the later block-printed version.The version of this work is relatively stable,which is caused by the compilation and design form of its three chapters and six volumes,as well as the attributes of the court archives of the Tang Dynasty documents.
