概念隐喻视角下中央文献核心术语翻译研究

A Study on the Translation of Core Terms in Central Literature from the Perspective of Conceptual Metaphor

中央文献是具有中国特色的政治话语体系,其成功英译有助于提高中国特色话语体系传播力,争取国际话语权。本研究以《习近平谈治国理政》第三卷英译本为研究语料,以认知语言学中的概念隐喻为理论框架,将语料中所涉及的核心术语进行整理分类,归纳总结出不同背景下中央政治文献常用隐喻表达类型、内含及作用,提出中央政治文献翻译策略及方法,使读者能够很好地理解独具中国特色的政治话语风格,并能够清晰、准确地向世界读者宣传党的中央政治文献。

Central party literature is a political discourse system with Chinese characteristics,and the successful translation into English helps to enhance the dissemination of the Chinese characteristic discourse system and strive for international discourse power.The study aims to organize and classify the core terms involved in the corpus,as well as summarize the commonly used metaphorical expressions,connotations,and roles in central political literature under different backgrounds.Furthermore,it proposes translation strategies and methods for central political literature by using Xi Jinping:The Governance of China III as the research corpus and setting the conceptual metaphors in cognitive linguistics as the theoretical framework.By doing so,readers can gain a good understanding of the unique political discourse style with Chinese characteristics and accurately promote the party’s central political literature to readers around the world.
