摘要
企业数字化转型已成为我国经济增长的新引擎和新动力,如何推动企业开展数字化转型是学界和实务界普遍关注的热点问题。聚焦内部高管团队经历,以2014—2021年沪深A股上市公司为研究样本,考察高管海外经历对企业数字化转型的具体影响。研究结果表明:高管海外经历能够显著促进企业数字化转型。相对于高管海外工作经历而言,高管海外留学经历在企业数字化转型过程中促进作用更大。研究结果不仅丰富了高管海外经历的经济后果及企业数字化转型的驱动因素,而且为促进企业数字化转型提供了相关经验借鉴。
Enterprise digital transformation has become the new engine and motivation of China's economic growth.How to promote enterprises to carry out digital transformation is a hot issue that scholars and practitioners generally pay attention to.Focusing on experiences of internal senior management teams,this paper takes Shanghai-Shenzhen A-share listed companies from 2014 to 2021 as research samples to investigate the specific impact of senior executives'overseas experiences on enterprises'digital transformation.The results show that executives'overseas experiences can significantly promote enterprises'digital transformation.And compared with the overseas work experience of senior executives,the overseas study experience of senior executives plays a greater role in promoting the digital transformation process of enterprises.The research results not only enrich the economic consequences of executives'overseas experiences and the driving factors of enterprises'digital transformation,but also provide relevant experience for promoting enterprises'digital transformation.
