Effects of Wuqinxi on balance dysfunction in the elderly:a Meta-analysis

目的系统评价五禽戏对老年人平衡能力的影响。方法全面检索PubMed、Web of science、The cochrane library、EMbase、维普网、中国生物医学文献服务系统、中国知网和万方数据库关于五禽戏对老年人平衡功能影响的随机对照试验,检索时限为建库起至2023年2月。由2名研究者按入组标准筛选文献、提取资料、评价文献质量,采用Revman5.3软件进行Meta分析。结果最终纳入11项随机对照试验,五禽戏在闭眼单脚站立时间(MD=2.59,95%CI 1.39~3.80,P<0.0001),起立行走时间(MD=-1.03,95%CI-1.46~-0.59,P<0.00001),Berg评分量表(MD=2.79,95%CI 0.96~4.61,P=0.003)等指标结果均优于对照组,而在闭目原地踏步测试(MD=2.60,95%CI-0.33~5.53,P=0.08)试验组与对照组比较差异无显著性意义。结论现有证据表明,五禽戏能有效提高老年人的动、静态平衡能力,受研究所纳入数量与质量的影响,未来需要大样本、长期随访的高质量随机对照试验进一步论证其效果。

Objective To systematically evaluate the effects of Wuqinxi on the balance ability of the elderly.Methods Comprehensive search of PubMed,Web of science,The cochrane library,EMbase,VIP,CBM,CUKI,Wanfang Data Randomized controlled trials on the effects of Wuqinxi on balance ability in the elderly was searched from the establishment of the database to February 2023.Two researchers screened literature according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,extracted the data,and evaluated the literature quality.Meta-analysis was performed using Revman5.3 software.Results Eleven randomized controlled trials was included,including the time of standing on one foot with eyes closed(MD=2.59,95%CI 1.39~3.80,P<0.0001).The standing and walking time(MD=-1.03,95%CI-1.46~-0.59,P<0.00001),Berg scale(MD=2.79,95%CI 0.96~4.61,P=0.003)and other indexes were better than the control group.However,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the closed-eye walking test(MD=2.60,95%CI-0.33~5.53,P=0.08).Conclusion Existing evidence show that Wuqinxi can effectively improve the balance ability of the elderly,but it is still affected by the quantity and quality of the included studies.Therefore,high-quality randomized controlled trials with large samples and long-term follow-up are needed to further demonstrate its effect in the future.
