Wilson’s First Writings on Administration

学界一般认为,行政学起源于伍德罗·威尔逊在1887年发表的《行政之研究》,但不可否认的是,威尔逊稍早的三篇文章已为《行政之研究》的成文打下了基础。这组被称为“威尔逊关于行政的首次书写”的文献包括《参议院礼节》《关于行政的笔记》和《管理的艺术》,由粗糙笔记到“开山之作”的发展脉络也在其中若隐若现。我们特别编译了这组文献,以飨读者。

It is generally accepted that public administration originated from Woodrow Wilson’s“The Study of Administration”published in 1887,but it is undeniable that Wilson’s three earlier essays had already laid the foundation for the writing of“The Study of Administration”.This group of literature,which is called“Wilson’s First Writings on Administration”,includes:“The‘Courtesy of the Senate’”,“Notes on Administration”,and“The Art of Governing”,from which we can vaguely see the lineage from rough notes to the pioneering masterpiece.We have translated this group of literature for readers.
